211. Christoph Wilhelm LÜHRS was born on 30 Jan 1822 in Langwedel bei Daverden, Hannover, GER. He died after 1867 in the US. While he probably died in Iowa, the 1867 letter to relatives in Germany indicates that he was distraught over not hearing from his sons, and was considering going to California to search for them. He emigrated to the U.S. in April 1849 and established a farm in Iowa.

Christoph Wilhelm LÜHRS and Margarethe OELKERS were married. Margarethe OELKERS died in the US. Christoph Wilhelm LÜHRS and Margarethe OELKERS had the following children:

266. i.   Christopher LUHRS. was born in Langwedel bei Daverden, Hannover, GER. Went from IA to CA in 1850s in search of gold.
267. ii.   Hermann LUHRS. was born in Langwedel bei Daverden, Hannover, GER. Went from IA to CA in 1850s in search of gold.
